What Are Appointment Reminders?
An appointment reminder is an automated email or text message that tells a client about an upcoming appointment. A timely reminder with an easy way to reschedule helps cut no-shows and gives you earlier notice when a client can't make it.
In SchedulingKit, reminders are set per service: choose when each reminder goes out (minutes, hours or days before the appointment), add more than one, and write the text with merge tags such as the reschedule and cancel links. SMS goes only to clients who opt in on the booking form, and each text is limited to 320 characters. On Standard and above, Workflows can also send emails or texts to the client or host before or after an appointment, or when a booking is cancelled.
