SchedulingKit was founded in 2024 by a team that had spent years running service businesses — coaching practices, consulting firms, and local studios. We lived the frustration of paying $20–50 per user per month just to let clients pick a time slot. The tools on the market were either overpriced for what they offered or so complex that onboarding took longer than the meetings we were trying to book.

We started with a simple insight: basic scheduling features — calendar sync, automated reminders, a clean booking page — shouldn't be locked behind expensive paywalls. So we built SchedulingKit with a free-first model, giving every business access to the essentials from day one without a credit card or trial countdown.

What began as a side project to solve our own problem quickly resonated with other business owners facing the same pain. Today SchedulingKit supports businesses across 50+ industries — from solo therapists and personal trainers to multi-location salons and law firms. We're still a small, focused team, and we plan to keep it that way so we can stay close to the people we build for.
