How to Add a Booking Widget to WordPress

Follow these steps to embed the SchedulingKit booking widget on your WordPress site

1

Copy the Embed Code

In SchedulingKit, open Event Types → Share & Embed for the service you want and copy the Inline Embed (an iframe) or the Popup Widget code. A plain Button Link is also available.

2

Open the WordPress Page

In WP Admin, open the page or post where clients should book, for example your Services or Contact page, in the block editor.

3

Add a Custom HTML Block

Click the + inserter, choose Custom HTML, and paste the code. In Elementor, Divi or other builders, use their HTML or Code widget instead.

4

Preview on Desktop and Mobile

Use Preview to check the booking page loads and fits. Adjust the iframe height if your service list is long.

5

Publish and Test a Booking

Publish the page and make a test booking to confirm it lands in your calendar and the confirmation email arrives.

Widget Features

WordPress Widget Features

Platform-specific features that make the booking widget work smoothly on WordPress

Inline Embed

An iframe that shows your booking page inside the WordPress page, so visitors book without leaving your site.

Popup Widget

A button that opens your booking page in a popup using the embed.js script, useful in headers or sidebars.

Works With Page Builders

Paste the same code into Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder or any builder that has an HTML or Code widget.

Your Branding

The embedded booking page uses the logo, colors and font you set in SchedulingKit's Customize settings, not your WordPress theme.

Best Practices

Best Practices for WordPress Booking Widgets

Tips for getting the most out of your embedded booking widget on WordPress

Place the booking embed near the top of your main services page so visitors see it immediately

Embed a specific service's link on pages about that service, and your full booking page on your Book Now page

If you use a caching or security plugin that strips scripts, use the iframe inline embed rather than the popup script

Put a popup button in your header or menu for a booking call to action on every page

Check the embed on mobile with WordPress's responsive preview before publishing
