- 1SchedulingKit v3.0 is an entirely new platform — every line of code was rewritten
- 2New AI layer: receptionist, voice agent, chatbot builder, AI agents, and AI CRM
- 3New mobile apps for iOS and Android, built native from scratch
SchedulingKit v3.0 is live. It's not an update — it's an entirely new product.
We rebuilt the platform from scratch. New architecture, new mobile apps, new website. Everything you see and use is new. This post explains why we made that decision and what's different now.
Why rebuild from scratch?
The original SchedulingKit worked. People used it every day to manage bookings, process payments, and coordinate teams. But it had a ceiling.
The codebase was showing its age. Adding new features required working around old decisions. Performance had limits we couldn't engineer away. And the direction we wanted to go — AI-powered automation, voice agents, chatbot builders — required a foundation that didn't exist in the old system.
We had two options: keep patching the old product or start fresh with the right architecture. We chose the harder path.
What's new in v3.0
Entirely new platform
The product is faster, cleaner, and handles complexity that the old version couldn't. Multi-staff scheduling, round-robin routing, collective availability, group bookings — all of it works without the workarounds that used to be required.
AI that runs your front desk
This is the biggest change. SchedulingKit now includes an AI layer that automates what used to require a human:
- AI Receptionist — answers calls 24/7, books appointments, handles inquiries
- AI Voice Agent — conducts full phone conversations, qualifies leads, schedules meetings
- Chatbot Builder — no-code builder that creates booking bots for your website
- AI Agents — autonomous workflows that follow up with clients, send reminders, reactivate inactive customers
- AI CRM — automatically tracks client interactions, predicts churn, suggests actions
These aren't add-ons bolted onto a scheduling tool. They're built into the core platform, sharing the same data, the same booking engine, the same client profiles.
New mobile apps
Native iOS and Android apps, rebuilt from scratch. Manage bookings, check your schedule, accept payments, and communicate with clients — all from your phone. Push notifications for new bookings, cancellations, and reminders.
Redesigned website
The new schedulingkit.com is a complete redesign. Faster load times, better documentation, clearer pricing, and industry-specific pages that show exactly how SchedulingKit works for your business type.
Payments overhaul
Accept payments via Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Collect deposits or full payment at booking. Sell session packages, credit bundles, subscriptions, and gift cards. Automatic invoicing included.
Team scheduling that actually works
Round-robin assignment, collective availability (find times when everyone is free), multi-staff bookings, and individual booking pages per team member. Whether you have 3 people or 300, the scheduling logic handles it.
What stayed the same
- Free forever plan — still free, still includes 2 team members, 3 event types, 100 bookings/month, and calendar sync. No credit card required.
- The mission — make scheduling free, fast, and effortless for any business, team, or individual.
- Your data — all existing accounts and data migrated seamlessly. Nothing was lost.
The numbers
- 5,000+ teams using SchedulingKit
- Active in 40+ countries
- 50+ industry templates (salons, healthcare, fitness, consulting, photography, and more)
- Integrations with Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, Stripe, PayPal, Slack, and 1,000+ apps via Zapier
What's next
v3.0 is the foundation, not the finish line. The AI layer is where we're investing the most. Expect smarter scheduling optimization, better client insights, and automation that handles more of the repetitive work so you can focus on the work that matters.
Try it
SchedulingKit is free to start. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden limits on the free plan.
If you're already on SchedulingKit — you're already on v3.0. Everything migrated automatically.
