Canceling Reclaim.ai is done through the account settings in the web app. You can downgrade to the free plan which includes basic AI scheduling features, or fully delete your account. No fixed 3-5 minute completion time is established; account-deletion cleanup can take up to an hour. Since Reclaim manages your calendar actively, you should review and clean up AI-created time blocks before canceling.

How to Cancel Reclaim.ai
Follow these steps to cancel your Reclaim.ai subscription
Log into your Reclaim.ai account
Go to app.reclaim.ai and sign in with your account credentials. Make sure you're the account owner or have billing permissions.
Open Profile > Billing
Click your profile photo at the top right and select Billing to open Billing & Team. Only account admins can manage team billing.
Choose Cancel plan, then Proceed to Cancel
On Billing & Team, select Cancel plan under Lite, then Proceed to Cancel. Answer the cancellation questions and finalize. Paid cancellation takes effect at the billing-period end, then the account moves to Lite.
Clean up AI-created calendar events
Review habits, tasks and Smart Meetings before fully leaving. Account deletion cleans up Reclaim-created events and synced copies. For Reclaim 2.0 recurring habit agents, remove the agent first and choose to remove its events, or clean up the recurring calendar series afterward.
Delete the account only after canceling billing
If fully leaving, confirm the subscription cancellation first, then use Profile > Manage my account > Delete your account while calendar access is still connected. Do not revoke Google access first: this can strand cleanup. Allow up to an hour, then verify the calendar before removing remaining connected-app permissions. Deleting an account or team member may leave a team subscription active.
Reclaim.ai Refund Policy
Paid fees are generally nonrefundable. The terms provide an exception for canceling an initial annual subscription within 30 days: termination at the end of that 30-day period and an eleven-month prorated refund, less transaction fees or taxes, requested from Reclaim. Ordinary paid cancellation takes effect at period end and downgrades to Lite; annual purchases older than 30 days are not refunded under the help policy.

A paid-plan downgrade is different from account deletion. Deletion normally cleans Reclaim-created events within an hour; remove Reclaim 2.0 habit agents first for recurring-event cleanup. If events remain after waiting, follow the official deletion troubleshooting guide or contact support.
Calendar still being modified after downgrade
Lite can continue its permitted scheduling. Use Pause Scheduling/disable the relevant agents or the documented account-deletion flow when leaving entirely. Do not revoke calendar access before cleanup; that can strand Reclaim events.
